On the 27th and 28th of August, the Lantern Theatre Liverpool will be hosting Bitter Soil, a one man performance by Rasfan Haval.
Bitter Soil is about a lost and sullied ethnic background embodied by physicality, spoken word and extreme emotion, a devised performance by Rasfan Haval which centres on the lost identity of the Kurds. It strives to show that the people of Kurdistan, even though facing so much oppression and conflict in the past, remain resilient. However, the Kurds still face discrimination and a tough battle to keep their identity to the present day.
