On Thursday 11th February, Historian and Author David Ebsworth will be giving insights into the battle that defined British fortunes on the continent and the moment in which Europe was freed from the yoke of oppression laid down by the machinations and ideals of the early 19th Century. A war that ended in Waterloo and was for almost a century widely regarded as The Great War and which signalled the end in many ways the military rivalry between Britain and France, a war which brought to life the senselessness of such campaigns, at least for a short while.
