Three From Above, Hail Caesar!, Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * * *

It is the evocative sound of agreement turned in on itself, of the signalling of the Triumvirate in action as they held the world in the palm of their hands and never for a minute believing it would be for anything other than pleasure and domination; certainly not to be used in conjunction by an entertaining band from Liverpool who see the world in their latest single, as an intense, moody joy and third round knockout in front of a 10,000 strong baying crowd at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

Alexx Calise, Breathe, Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating 9/10

Take stock and Breathe, perhaps now more than ever the world simply has to breathe and not be fooled into believing everything has a quick fix, this is not a sink hole in Japan, it is real life, astonishing, beautiful and at times a whole lot scary but still life.

It is a life that has carried the music of Alexx Calise across the Atlantic Ocean and back, has made her a much sought after name to listen to in her native homeland, in all the guises and musical hats that she has been part of and throughout it all she has breathed and kept her heart open and as she releases her latest single, Breathe, she once more offers the sense of the dramatic within the hands of the sensational.

Rob Clarke And The Wooltones, Another Wooltones Xmas Record, Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * * *

Christmas comes but once a year…though it seems to hang around forever and like some over used decoration that twinkles with the drive of an over eager beagle grabbing at its lead, soon finds its way to get on your nerves long before the main event actually arrives. To not enjoy the time of year leads to labels of being a scrooge, of being curmudgeonly or just plain mean and can lead to being ostracised by those who complain of life being empty when the tinsel falls down and who never mind pine needles being stuck in their big toe at three in the morning. Thank heavens for Rob Clarke and the Wooltones who offer with great sincerity Another Wooltones Xmas Record to let the passing of time have at least one heroic cheer.

Chasing Infinity, Dance With The One That Brought You. Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating 7.5/10

In what seems the dim and distant past, another world existed within the musical spectrum. It was a world in which musicians and bands were given the freedom to grow at their own pace artistically, to be nurtured and perhaps allowed the room to breathe. Not every label was so forward thinking back then and perhaps even less now, everybody wants their piece of the action and worse perhaps the unholy chasing of the Pound/Dollar or Euro that goes with it.

The Shadow Theatre, Ghosts. Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * * *

The Shadow Theatre, four lads from the heart of Maghull and Huyton release their first single today and it is a rip-roarer and a testament to the growing anger that dwells within a section of society once more. The anger of punk was never lost, it just has a new feeling and new bands in which to shake a few fists and take on the stupidity of what it sees.

Orange Room, Always Get My Way. Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * * *

Following in a long line of great musicians and bands to come out of Australia comes Orange Room and their fantastic debut single Always Get My Way. The four young men may have swapped the climate and leisure life of a country renowned for its great guitar riffs and unceasing brilliant rock for the cold dreary shores of Britain but by making this choice they have done themselves a huge favour and also the rock/indie fans of the U.K.
