Each one of us has done something terrible in our lives, committed an act that has caused another person distress, has made perhaps a loved one think badly of our actions, and we have in return either sought out forgiveness or taken on board the anger and allowed it to define us, to be that which we have been labelled, even if it transpires that we were in the end innocent of the charge.

Time and sensitivity are not natural bed fellows, neither is truly mature enough to handle each other’s whims, demands or spoilt child like behaviour when the going gets tough; it takes a writer of delicate persuasion in which to capture the beauty in heartache and the sudden fall of a relationship which had been so clear before.

The Christmas schedule is such that it falls deeply into the realms of asking the viewer to remember others and the tireless work they do, it is a noble act but one in which many will find themselves just having on in the background in between munching on the last mince pie or playing a game with the children.

For all the bright lights ever offered Humanity of a future world, it somehow is never as intriguing a prospect to write about a society that has a dystopian angle to it.
