Matthew Bourne’s And New Adventures Edward Scissorhands To Come To The Empire Theatre.

New Adventures, Martin McCallum and Marc Platt are delighted to announce that Edward Scissorhands, devised, directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne will play at the Liverpool Empire from Tuesday 27th January 2015 to Saturday 31st January 2015 as part of a U.K. tour.

New Adventures magical production of Edward Scissorhands has carved a place in the hearts of thousands across the world since its premiere in 2005. After sell out performances in Europe, America and Australia this spectacular modern fairy tale returns to the U.K. in its first major revival.

William Golding’s Lord Of The Flies Adapted By Matthew Bourne To Be Shown At The Empire Theatre.

New Adventures and Re:Bourne are delighted to announce a national tour of a thrilling new production of Lord of The Flies, choreographed by Olivier nominated Scott Ambler, adapted and directed by Matthew Bourne and Scott Ambler, based on the classic novel by William Golding. Lord of The Flies will play at the Liverpool Empire from the 10th to the 13th September 2014.

The action is transferred from deserted island to deserted theatre. A group of schoolboys find themselves abandoned. With no adults around they start to make their own rules and create their own civilisation, before order breaks down and the story builds to an electrifying climax.
