The Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival maybe one of many celebrations that take place in the city during the year, however it feels like one of the most welcoming, most diverse and certainly interesting to all those that have travelled many miles, some who travel thousands, to call Liverpool their home for the best part of 10 days and nights of scintillating Arabic culture.

Founded back in 1998 by the Liverpool Arabic Centre and the Bluecoat, the first festival took place in 2002 and this year has all the hallmarks of being bigger and better than ever.
