The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season is a third-person episodic adventure game available from retail stores and for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. The makers, Telltale Games, have gradually become more popular with every game having developed the cult classic Sam and Max seasons to episodic games based upon such well known licensed properties as Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us with Telltale’s star rising upon every release which has led to Tales from the Borderlands, Minecraft: Story Mode and even Game of Thrones with certainly a bright future ahead.

Grim Fandango: Remastered (PS4), Game Review.

Grim Fandango: Remastered is a story driven third-person adventure puzzle game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4 and PS Vita. The game is an enhanced version of the cult classic point and click adventure which was originally released in October 1998 and is known as one of LucasArts’ best games amongst many big name classics such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Grim Fandango was met with mass critical acclaim upon release with many awards in 1998 such as Adventure Game of the Year from PC Gamer, IGN, Game Critics Awards and Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences as well as an entire range of GameSpot awards with a lot of recognition for the quality the game possessed. Tim Schafer who is known for his work on other such classic games as Day of the Tentacle and Psychonauts was the project lead on the original release of Grim Fandango which he stated cost around $3 million to develop and he also lead the project of remastering the game with Double Fine Productions.

Life is Strange: Episode 1 – Chrysalis is a third-person episodic adventure game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4. Life is Strange is developed by Dontnod Entertainment who are known for creating games with powerful and dependable female characters that grow and become stronger through the duration of the game, which had been previously released as Remember Me in 2013.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell (PS4), Game Review.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is a third-person open world action game available from retail stores and for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4. Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is a standalone expansion which continues the Saints Row series and is also included in the PS4 release of Saints Row IV: Re-Elected.

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected (PS4), Game Review.

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected is a third-person open world action game available from retail stores and for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4. The game is an enhanced version of Saints Row IV which was released on PS3 in August 2013, although the Saints Row series began development in mid 2003 initially under the name Bling Bling as a PS2 game before finally releasing in August 2006 as an Xbox 360 exclusive followed by multi-platform sequels in the form of Saints Row 2 in October 2008 and Saints Row: The Third in November 2011. Volition is no stranger to making great games as they have developed multiple games in the FreeSpace, Summoner and Red Faction franchises since 1998.

Gravity Badgers (PS Vita), Game Review.

Gravity Badgers is a physics based puzzle game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita. Gravity Badgers was created by the Welsh developer and publisher Wales Interactive who is a B.A.F.T.A.Cymru award winner with an array of experience throughout the team, so can Gravity Badgers exude that same level of quality?

The story sees players taking on the role of a heroic Gravity Badger called Captain T. Bayback as he sets off in an exploration through deep space to save his friends, family and the universe from the imminent threat of the deadly evil Honey Badgers also known as the Hellsett as the story gradually unfolds throughout every episode.

Trine: Enchanted Edition (PS4), Game Review.

Trine: Enchanted Edition is a side scrolling action adventure and puzzle game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4. Trine: Enchanted Edition fully utilises the Trine 2: Complete Story engine to enhance the original Trine game on PS3 and is the latest release in the award winning and popular Trine franchise. Trine is the work of the self-funded development team Frozenbyte based in Helsinki, Finland who was founded in 2001 and had developed the successful P.C. indie games Shadowgrounds in November 2005 and Shadowgrounds: Survivor in November 2007 which are sci-fi action games that saw the player battling hordes of aliens before Trine was originally released in 2009 with Trine 2 following in 2011, while Frozenbyte’s follow-up IP to Trine is a fast-paced old-school platform game called Splot which released in October 2014.

Race the Sun (PS4), Game Review.

Race the Sun is an endless runner racing game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. The game was launched on the back of a successful Kickstarter campaign which saw 1,144 backers generously donate to Flippfly as the gaming community raised $1,579 more than their target of $20,000 required to develop and release the game across multiple platforms with the project receiving official status as being successfully funded on March 7th 2013.

Driveclub (PS4), Game Review.

Driveclub is a socially connected racing game available from retail stores and for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4.

Evolution Studios have a real pedigree for developing racing games as they developed all five of the PS2 exclusive WRC games from 2001 through 2005, while creating the rather unique world of MotorStorm for a trilogy of PS3 exclusives from 2006 to 2011 with a spin-off in the form of the cross-buy MotorStorm RC for PS3 and PS Vita in 2012.

Day D: Tower Rush is a tower defence based strategy game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita. The task is to destroy waves of incoming pre-historic enemies before they are able to complete their journey to enter the time machine with the power of turrets and inventions at the player’s disposal across an entire campaign.
