The Bucket List, we all perhaps have one but it is one that is constantly updating, ever shifting, perhaps never taken too seriously, there is always time to do anything and only the most daring of adventures are ever put off till it is too late to ever contemplate doing them. Bucket it all, the list should always be looked upon as a friend, the memory for others to be inspired by and no matter how bizarre the revelations’ that come with them, no matter the chaos that ensues, some things in life are just too important to never achieve.

It is perhaps appropriate that on the week the country remembers the 75th anniversary of Britain’s entry into the Second World War that the B.B.C. should show the story of how Britain was saved in the early days of The Battle of Britain by no small measure of ingenuity, sacrifice and imagination from the fathers of RADAR, Robert Watson Watt and Skip Wilkins.

Murder On The Home Front, Television Review. I.T.V.

Cast: Tazmin Merchant, Patrick Kennedy, James Fleet, Ryan Gage, John Bowe, Richard Bremmer, Amanda Fairbanks-Hynes, Emerald Fennell, Iain McKee, Siobhan Hayes, Susie Blake, John Heffernan, Patrick Knowles, Joey Batey.

Murder on the Home Front, the two-part television programme based on the memoirs of Molly Lefebure, may not have the stature of other crime/detective programmes that have become a staple of the diet, the fix of misdeed and felony that Britain seems to revel in watching but nonetheless it sparked and blossomed and in the end was enough to get the crime gastric juices flowing to make it quirky, watchable and in parts inspired.
