It has taken time to get the film right, to put into place a mainstream film in which, not with-standing the excellent Wesley Snipes led Blade trilogy of films, has cast a superhero in which the cinematic experience is one of overwhelming joy, of learning the lessons shared with positive enlightenment and one that does not bow to the demands of absolute anger, Black Panther is a film in which the rise of the proud and the noble who have fought every inch of the way for such a moment will relish, and quite rightly so.

Rogue One, A Star Wars Story. Film Review.

It was always inevitable, always going to happen at some point, perhaps in a galaxy not too far away but someone was always going to produce a prequel to the prequels and do it after all the sequels had been set near enough in Cordite. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the tale that all fans of the space saga has fully deserved, the one big hole that needed not just filling, but doing so with respect, with elegance and style and perhaps even with the odd nod to the Universe at large.

Life boils down to communication, the willingness to talk about even the most inconsequential moments as well as the static, the shouts of indifference and the moans of love, terror and laughter; without being able to communicate in any form, without breaking the barriers that naturally occur between us in language or in our attitudes, we do not deserve to be considered reasonable, adept or functioning members of the planet.

Pre-conceptions of someone’s abilities or life is perhaps arguably one of the worst ways in which to underestimate them or even under value them as human beings. It is prejudice by any other name and a bias that can have startling consequences when they turn and bite you where the sun refuses to shine.
