Classic rock icon and original Cockney Rebel Steve Harley will be playing at Parr Hall in July as part of a U.K. tour.

Steve Harley, who has written and recorded 11 albums in a prolific career spanning four decades, recently returned to the public eye for re-releasing former No. 1 Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me) following the tragic murder of M.P. Jo Cox.

Together with Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson, KT Tunstall and David Gray, he formed The Friends of Jo Cox and re-released the song in tribute on 16 December, with proceeds going towards charities the M.P. had supported.
