Liam Hale’s Successful Edinburgh Fringe Show, Play With Myself: The Trials And Tribulations Of Drama Practitioner Gregory Bike, To Play For One Night Only In Liverpool.

Drama practitioner Gregory Bike invites you to witness a stage adaptation of the most important part of his life. Tasked with putting on a play Gregory not only has to write, direct, and act in his masterpiece but must also find love, avoid seeing his son’s presumably awful performances and avoid an early death at the …hands of fairground attractions.

Written, directed and performed by University of Liverpool graduate Liam Hale, Play With Myself: The Trials and Tribulations of Drama Practitioner Gregory Bike also has the incredible talent of Dominic Davies, Rio Matchett, David Paes and Sean Stoakes will be returning to Liverpool for one night only at The Lantern Theatre on the 16th October after a successful month at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Hannah Trigwell And Nick Howard To Perform At The Shipping Forecast This October.

Following the huge success of her latest U.K. tour this year Hannah Trigwell will be joined by multi-talented singer-songwriter Nick Howard on their exciting debut tour in October which includes a night at Liverpool’s The Shipping Forecast on Saturday 11th.

Adam Scovell And Katie Craven Present Mixed Media Collaboration Coven At Liverpool’s Kitchen Street.

Coven is a mixed media collaboration between Katie Craven and Adam Scovell. The exhibition opens on Friday the 24th of October at 24 Kitchen Street and explores themes of the occult, the supernatural, and the esoteric by placing them in the context of the natural landscape. Influenced by the stories of M.R. James, the films of Kenneth Anger, and the life of Aleister Crowley, the exhibition mixes different forms of media to create a haunted experience derived from the land. Coven includes:

Tarot (2014) – a short super 8 video work by Scovell in collaboration with Liverpool band, BIRD, and with title cards by Craven.

Dreaming Of A Barry White Christmas To Return This Festive Season.

Christmas has come early as writer Dave Kirby and an all-star Liverpool cast officially launched the return of the smash hit adult comedy Dreaming of a Barry White Christmas.

The show that stormed EchoTwo @ Liverpool’s Echo Arena for five nights last Christmas returns by popular demand for 2014, this time, for an extended three week run in the intimate surroundings of the Echo Arena’s sister venue, The Auditorium. Dave Kirby’s grown-up festive treat will run from Monday 15th December to Saturday 3rd January 2015 and tickets are on sale now.

The Epstein Theatre brings a new season of exciting new shows with a diverse range of entertainment for all audiences to Liverpool.

Music fans everywhere will be delighted with the caliber of acts announced, beginning with King Creosote on the 8th October who will be playing music from their new smash hit album From Scotland With Love. Joy Division’s Lead Guitarist Bernard Sumner is at the theatre on the 30th September. In New Order, Joy Division and Me: Bernard Sumner in conversation with Dave Haslam, Bernard will discuss his long awaited autobiography. On the 9th October, Chantel McGregor, the prestigious rock and blues performer comes to wow Liverpool with another phenomenal live performance. Ivor Novello and Brit nominated singer songwriter Nerina Pallot tours to promote her fourth E.P. Free as You Wanna Be which will be performed along with her sensational back catalogue at the Epstein on 30th October.

Michael Chapman And James Blackshaw To Perform At Leaf This December.

From across two generations of inspired, emotionally-charged U.K. acoustic composition come hugely revered Yorkshire singer-songwriter Michael Chapman and Hastings guitar polymath James Blackshaw, joining forces for a six date adventure around England in December which includes a night at Leaf on Bold Street, Liverpool on Monday 8th December.

Both musicians deploys uses the oft-prosaic tools of folk music to construct their own transcendental, technically astounding tapestries of string and melody.

Twopence To Cross The Mersey To Visit Southport, St. Helens And New Brighton in 2015.

Producers of the brand new stage play version of Helen Forrester’s Twopence to Cross the Mersey are delighted to announce that the 2015 production will now extend across Merseyside following its initial three week run at the Liverpool Epstein Theatre, visiting Southport Theatre, St. Helens Theatre Royal and finishing its journey by finally crossing the Mersey at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton.

This comes just weeks after the announcement of an extra week of shows added to its run at the Epstein Theatre which is on from Tuesday 10th March to Saturday 28th March 2015.

Jethro Tull’s Legendary Guitarist, Martin Barre, To Release New Album And Perform At The Lomax In Liverpool.

Responding to fans’ demand, legendary guitarist Martin Barre has announced the release of Order of Play. The album, due out on September 29th, is the studio version of the acclaimed show which sees him performing Tull classics with his talented live band and will also be performing at The Lomax in Liverpool on September 6th.

Legendary Liverpool Comedian, Mickey Finn, Calls Last Orders in Lynne Fitzgerald’s New Play.

Award winning actress and comedy writer Lynne Fitzgerald bring audiences her new hilarious play, Show Us Your Tips, to the St.Helens Theatre Royal this month.

Set over one night in a Scouse Ale House and stars Liverpool’s finest comedian Mickey Finn playing Scotch-soaked landlord said, “How can you go wrong with Mickey Finn in your cast, he is hilarious.”

Mickey’s moaning groaning wife and landlady will be played by Irish singer and actress Clare Bowles, who adds, “I am thrilled to be working in another of Lynne’s plays as it’s always a hoot, although I am just over 4ft tall and the set bar is also 4ft so I’m struggling to see over the top of it.” She laughs, “Lynne assures me once I have my beehive wig on, all will be fine.”
