Multi-platinum selling rock band Nickleback are set to embark on a massive headlining tour in 2015 in support of their eighth full-length studio album, No Fixed Address on Republic Records. Starting in Helsinki, Finland on the 30th September and coming back to the Liverpool Echo Arena on Thursday 19th November, the No Fixed Address Tour marks Nickleback’s tenth world tour and will see the band performing in 31 cities across Europe next Autumn.

That’s Amore will open at the Unity Theatre, Liverpool, on Wednesday 28th January before touring to a further six venues until Friday, 27th February, 2015. The 10-date tour will also include Norwich, Ormskirk, Bury, Halifax, Runcorn and Barnsley.

Liverpool welcomes the return of visionary rock musician and musicologist Julian Cope as he announces a date at the city’s Epstein Theatre on Thursday 5th February 2015 promising fans an evening of music spanning a career of 30 years.
Cope was the one-time front man of Liverpool band The Teardrop Explodes but musical output is only one facet to this singer, poet, occultist and photographer’s work. His best-selling tome The Modern Antiquarian, a full colour 484-page hardback and follow-up The Megalithic European were the result of eight years of research into lost stone temples and ancient monuments.

Seasick Steve To Perform At The Philharmonic Hall In 2015.
Seasick Steve releases his sensational new album, Sonic Soul Surfer, on March 23rd on Caroline International. For his fans that’s only half the news as he has also announced a new U.K. tour starting in Folkstone on April 8th 2015 and which will come to Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall on April 12th.
Produced and written by Seasick Steve and recorded in his front room at the little farm where he lives, it’s his seventh studio record and most ambitious work yet. Along with longtime drummer Dan Magnusson, the album also features Luther Dickinson (Mississippi All Stars) playing slide guitar on two tracks, Georgina Leach on fiddle and Ben Miller playing jaw harp on lead track Summertime Boy, a song celebrating the life and sunshine of California.

Liverpool’s Playhouse Theatre Proud To Announce Ken Dodd Is Providing Voice For Christmas Show.
The Playhouse Theatre is tickled to announce that Liverpool’s own king of comedy, Ken Dodd, will be providing the voice for one of the characters in the Playhouse’s Christmas comedy show Sex and the Three Day Week. Ken, who cites the Playhouse as his favourite theatre, will be the voice of Tom the Mynah bird in the play which runs at the Williamson Square venue from Friday 5th December to Saturday 10th January.
Ken is no stranger to the Playhouse stage. He famously played Malvolio in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at the Playhouse in 1971 and has appeared there numerous times with his Diddymen and tickling sticks in his Happiness Show.
