Leeds Based Band, Hawk Eyes, To Play Maguires Pizza Bar This February.

Having gained critical acclaim from the likes of Kerrang!, Drowned in Sound and N.M.E., the Leeds based band Hawk Eyes are flying high and will coming to Liverpool on Thursday 12th February as Part of a new U.K. tour to promote their imminent third album, Everything Is Fine. The band combine huge, brutal riffs, combined with anthemic hooks and lightning-fast guitar work.

The evening at Maguire’s  Pizza Bar will also see God Damn as main support on the show, God Damn will bring the noise. The two-piece band present a blisteringly loud, sludgy sound that unleashes riffs of immense power. This show comes off the back of a number of U.K. tours and festival shows.

Jesus Christ Superstar To Return To The Empire Theatre.

Jesus  Christ Superstar, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ground-breaking rock opera, returns to the stage in 2015 in an explosive new production which plays at the Liverpool Empire from 23rd to 28th March 2015.

Leading performer Glenn Carter is set to return as Jesus, a role he has played in the West End, on Broadway and on film. His extensive musical theatre credits include leading roles in Whistle Down the Wind, Les Misérables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Godspell and Merrily We Roll Along.

Ellen Kent Brings Iconic Operas La Traviata And Madama Butterfly To The Liverpool Empire Theatre.

Iconic operas La Traviata and Madama Butterfly will come to the Liverpool Empire Theatre in April 2015 as part of a national Spring tour of Britain and Ireland. Staged by award winning producer Ellen Kent, theatre-goers will have the opportunity to see stunning productions of Verdi’s La Traviata on Friday 3rd April, and then the Puccini masterpiece Madama Butterfly the following day, on Saturday, 4th April. The British and Irish tour starts on 5th February in Llandudno with Madama Butterfly, and finishes on 3rd May in Dartford.

Keddy Sutton And Gillian Hardie Return To The Unity Theatre With Caz And Britney.

The inimitable Caz ‘n’ Britney, (Gillian Hardie and Keddy Sutton) return to the Unity Theatre with Mis Les between January 7th and Saturday 17th after their sell out stretch last year in Scottie Road The Musical, and more recently the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Voted amongst ‘Top twenty shows to see’ by The Scotsman and deemed ‘Living proof of the versatility and sheer hilarity of female comedians’  (Broadway Baby), the girls are back with the sequel!

The Lantern Theatre To Host Christopher T. Harris Play In February.

The Lantern Theatre in Liverpool are pleased to present Christopher T. Harris’ New Play, Winona, for one night only on Thursday 12th February.

Siblings Kate and Daf have retreated to their family cottage somewhere in the Welsh valley. When a stranger puts a gun to his head near the tree outside, their somewhat quiet retreat turns into something quite different.

Winona is the new play by acclaimed writer Christopher T. Harris, a play about love, social existence and the need to love.

Circa Waves To Come To The Liverpool Academy in 2015.

The band Circa Waves has announced details of the release of their latest single and a new U.K. tour for 2015. Fossils will be released through Virgin on Monday 19th January 2015 and the new tour, which starts in Newcastle on April 8th, will come to the Liverpool Academy on April 11th.

The single is taken from their forthcoming debut album, details of which are to be announced shortly. Recorded as part of the album sessions at RAK studios with producer Dan Grech, Fossils, available on 7” and download, will also feature a cover of The Ronettes Be My Baby on the B-side, recorded at the historic Capitol Recording Studios in Los Angeles.

Nickleback To Have No Fixed Address In 2015 As They Embark On New Tour.

Multi-platinum selling rock band Nickleback are set to embark on a massive headlining tour in 2015 in support of their eighth full-length studio album, No Fixed Address on Republic Records. Starting in Helsinki, Finland on the 30th September and coming back to the Liverpool Echo Arena on Thursday 19th November, the No Fixed Address Tour marks Nickleback’s tenth world tour and will see the band performing in 31 cities across Europe next Autumn.
