Young Everyman Playhouse (YEP) return to the Everyman stage this spring with a new play focussed on our political system, how their voice can be heard and the political revolution behind the Millennial generation. Recently named Theatre School of the Year by The Stage, YEP continue to build on their success with this timely play ahead of the general election. Until They Kick Us Out will be at the Everyman from Wednesday 25th to Saturday 28th February.

Joe Bonamassa To Return To The Liverpool Echo Arena In October.
Following the recent announcement of Joe Bonamassa’s live DVD, Blu-ray and live album, Muddy Wolf at Red Rocks, and his critically acclaimed 2014 studio album Different Shades of Blue, the internationally renowned guitarist embarks on seven date U.K. arena tour in October 2015. The new dates follow Joe’s 4-night residency at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo between March 17th to the 21st.
The dates, which include a return to the Liverpool Echo Arena on Friday 23rd October, starts in Newcastle on Wednesday 21st October and visits venues in Leeds, Nottingham, Cardiff, Bournemouth, before finally finishing in Brighton on Saturday October 31st.
Associate Director Nick Bagnall Begins Everyman Tenure With A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Everyman & Playhouse Associate Director Nick Bagnall will direct his first play for the company this spring with a dark, contemporary telling of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Everyman. Mr. Bagnall’s previous interpretations of Shakespeare include Henry VI Trilogy for Shakespeare’s Globe which also toured to battlefields around the country. The cast features Cynthia Erivo as Puck and Dean Nolan as Bottom, while Andrew Schofield returns to the Everyman stage for the first time in ten years. The production runs at the Hope Street venue from Saturday 21st March to Saturday 18th April.
2015 Hot Tip, Sunset Sons, To Perform In Liverpool At The 02 Academy In May.
Sunset Sons have announced details of a headline tour of the U.K. and Ireland in May. The hotly-tipped four-piece will play eight dates throughout May with a night in Liverpool at the 02 Academy on May 8th.
Sunset Sons make anthemic, propulsive indie-rock and are being thought of as one of the breakthrough acts of 2015. As well as featuring on the B.B.C. Sound of 2015 shortlist they are one of M.T.V. Brand New’s and XFM Great X-Pectations’ tips for the year and have been widely tipped elsewhere by tastemakers across the media. The Times recently awarded them four stars for their sold-out London show at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen.

Jack Shepherd Stars In New Production of Two Classic Ghost Stories At The New Brighton Pavilion.
This February, award-winning veteran actor Jack Shepherd will be “The Signalman” in The Signalman by Charles Dickens and “Professor Parkins” in M.R. James’s Oh Whistle, and I’ll Come To You, My Lad. Joining him in Middle Ground Theatre Company’s ghostly double-bill will be Terrence Hardiman (The Demon Headmaster/Cadfael), Dicken Ashworth (Coronation Street/Emmerdale) and a full supporting cast. Directed by Michael Lunney, CLASSIC GHOSTS will run from Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th February the New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion Theatre.

The Iconic The Selecter Make Their Way Back To Liverpool As Part Of U.K. Tour This March.
The Selecter have announced a 22-date U.K .Tour throughout February and March 2015 to celebrate 5 years since their reunion and to support the release of their brand new album Subculture, released in Spring 2015. The tour, which begins in Gloucester on February 19th, will visit such towns and cities as Salisbury, Brighton, Bury, Edinburgh and Newcastle before coming to Liverpool’s East Village Arts Centre on March 19th before finishing appropriately in the home town of Coventry at the University of Warwick’s Copper Rooms.
