Full Cast Announced For Cinderella At The Epstein Theatre This Christmas.

Epstein Entertainments Ltd. today reveal the full line-up of stars confirmed for their debut panto production, coming to The Epstein Theatre this Christmas.

Emmerdale’s Sammy Winward; Benidorm’s Crissy Rock; and Brookside’s Sarah White were recently announced to appear in Cinderella at the Hanover Street venue later this year.

They will be joined by Shameless’ Warren Donnelly; Andrew Geater, Samantha Palin, and Lewis Devine who complete this year’s cast.

Audiences are guaranteed to have a ball when the greatest rags to riches tale opens from Friday 6th December 2019 – Sunday 5th January 2020 – and tickets are on-sale now.

Musical Adaption Of Oscar-Winning Film Set To Bring A Little Sunshine To Liverpool This September.

The city of Liverpool can expect some extended sunshine in Williamson Square this autumn, as the musical Little Miss Sunshine rolls into the Playhouse from 24th to 28th September.

Based on the Oscar award-winning film, Little Miss Sunshine is a musical comedy featuring local actor Mark Moraghan performing for the first time at the Playhouse as the Grandpa of Olive, in the dysfunctional Hoover family.

The Hoovers have more than a few troubles, but young Olive has her heart set on winning the Little Miss Sunshine beauty contest. When an invitation to compete comes out of the blue, the family must pile into their rickety, yellow VW camper van. Can it survive the 800-mile trip from New Mexico to California, and more importantly, can they?

Time Team anthropologist Professor Alice Roberts takes the stage on Saturday 7th September for An Evening With Alice Roberts: Digging in to Britain’s Past. Alice will share anecdotes and stories from her career.

Brothers Beyond celebrate 50 years of Joseph on Wednesday 11th September marking the 50th anniversary of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Produced and directed by former Joseph Graham Tudor who joins the cast alongside West End stars Mike Holloway and Chris Barton.

The South Celebrate Their 10th Anniversary As They Play Southport’s Atkinson This October.

To celebrate their 10th year anniversary and 30 years since The Beautiful South released Song For Whoever, The South are back with a 2019 Tour playing shows up and down the whole of the U.K., including a night at Southport’s Atkinson Theatre on October 4th.

The South are an impressive nine-piece band who feature former members of The Beautiful South including singer Alison Wheeler and lifelong sax player Gaz Birtles.  Since Dave Hemingway, the original singer, left the group at the end of 2016, Gaz has moved across to front the band with Alison and taken on vocal duties. They play the songs made famous by The Beautiful South and bring back the full flavour and arrangements with this exciting live band.

Fife’s Shambolics Announce Liverpool Date At Phase One On November 8th.

Following the announcement of their signing to Alan McGee’s Creation23 and the release of their new single Chasing A Disaster, Fife four-piece Shambolics have announced a handful of live shows for the end of 2019 – including a date at Phase One on November 8th.

Already hailed by label owner and mentor Alan McGee as, one of the great Scottish bands”, Shambolic are a fervently ambitious outfit from Scotland ready to take on the world. A far cry from the tag-tag chaos their name would perhaps imply, Shambolics have a knack for artfully honed and irresistibly dreamy rock ‘n’ roll that calls to mind the indelible sound of the genre’s lauded masters, from The LA’s to The Beatles.

Full Cast Announced For Sleeping Beauty Coming To St. Helens Theatre Royal This October.

The most spellbinding panto of them all is returning to St. Helens Theatre Royal this October  and the producers are excited to reveal its stellar cast.

Regal Entertainments will present Sleeping Beauty at the theatre from Saturday 19th – Tuesday 29th October, promising half-term fun for all the family.

The full cast includes Samantha Palin; Mia Molloy; James Lacey; Lewis Devine; Shameless’ Warren Donnelly; Abigail Middleton; and St. Helens’ resident Dame Si Foster.

Ska Legends, Bad Manners, Return To Manchester This October As Part Of National Tour.

Bad Manners are an English Second Wave (2 Tone) ska revival band.  They quickly became the novelty favourites of the genre through their bald, enormous-bodied frontman’s on-stage antics, earning early exposure through their Top of The Pops television exploits and an appearance in the live film documentary, Dance Craze.

Fronted by Buster Bloodvessel (born Douglas Trendle), the band was formed in 1976 while the members were together at Woodberry Down Comprehensive School near Manor House, North London.  They were at their most popular during the late 1970s and early 1980s, during a period when other ska revival bands, such as Madness and The Specials and The Selecter, filled the charts.

The Valley Community Theatre In Netherley Hosts Two Forthcoming Events Produced By The National Youth Theatre This Month.

Valley Community Theatre in Netherley are the proud hosts of two forthcoming events being produced by the prestigious National Youth Theatre of Britain.

The company are on a nationwide tour of their new play, Lost Boys, written by award-winning Formby playwright, Luke Barnes, and will be performing it at the theatre at 7.30pm on Saturday 14th September. Adults and young people (14 plus recommended age) welcome. Entrance is free.

The play is about growing up in a new Northern Town and explores issues of gender identity and mental health.
