Anniversaries are meant to be a joyous occasion, especially in the face of achievement and the reaching of goals which have opened the eyes of the public and offered them light whilst we are constantly told to relish the shadows.

For 20 years the American, Irish, and U.K. group of musicians who based themselves in Spain, Track Dogs, have entertained the public, and with good cause the audience have responded in kind; it is rare to find such generosity of spirit and music ability in a band that when first hear grabs your heart and gently pulls it aside, offers it passion, and cannot but help smile with honest intentions as it digs deep into the soul.
Whether hearing the band for the first time or the hundredth, Track Dogs offers the warmest of appreciation and as they prepare to release a culmination of music that speaks for itself, the double album that dances with creativity, Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered, the foot tapping, heart springing brilliance of the group is laid bare, and found to be astonishing.

Comprising of 40 moments of sheer cool, from single releases, E.P.s and albums, as well as nine new songs for the audience to get a grip of, the sense of the tantalising and uncontrollable urge sits deftly at the mechanism of musicianship and irresistibly plays out across time.

From the opening tones of the recent single, Amor De Mi Vida, and through feelings and treasures such as Bridges Are All Burnt, the ferocity of groove and cool in Papa Joe (Life On All Fours), Move A Mountain, A Lucky Man In Kansas City, the pun-filled title of All Roads (Lead Me To Roam), Ruby, Are You Mad At Your Man, and the awesome cover of the Lional Ritchie inspired song that he and The Commodores gave to the world, Easy, Track Dogs delve into every emotion, every apparatus of musicality and leaves a smile on the face that will last for days.

2026 looks like it will be a terrific year for the band as the milestone of 20 years of giving an audience a truly fantastic time hits home, and what better way than for that audience to become reacquainted with the music that settling in for the day and giving thanks for the memories given prominence in Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered.

Track Dogs release Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered on April 25th on Mondegreen Records.
