There is no doubting that Liam Hale is one of the country’s finest, and regrettably mostly undiscovered, comedic minds. If you were fortunate enough to witness in his performances as part of the University of Liverpool’s drama performances a decade ago, then you know that the burgeoning talent that shone through in roles and plays that played to his absolute strengths and gave rise to a man who then took Edinburgh by storm.
A return for the deeply unserious Liam Hale to Liverpool as he presents a surreal showcase of Clown and Character Comedy in But Doctor I Am Liam Hale. A unique one-man show of absolute nonsense. After years of clowning around at cabarets and comedy nights across the North-West and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Liam Hale brings a collection of old favourites and brand-new material together for an incredibly silly experience.
The evening’s entertainment will feature MUSICAL PIGS, everyone’s favourite right-wing Member of Parliament WACKFORD BUMBLE ESQ. and, for one night only, AN OLD MAN EATING CHOCOLATES and much, much more….
With support from musical comedy genius Danny Bradley and alternative comedy legend Jain Edwards, the evening at The Arts Bar on Hope Street will be one not to miss, upon shame of missing out, Liam Hale returns with a bang.
The show will be performed in Studio 3. The Arts Bar. Hope Street. Liverpool. Saturday 30th September 2023. Doors at 7.30pm. Show at 8pm. Tickets on sale at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/but-doctor-i-am-liam-hale-tickets696875973797 £6 (Plus Booking Fee).
