There are less than two weeks until the heroes of Regal Entertainment’s Easter panto, The Wizard of Oz, begin their magical journey down the yellow brick road.
The enchanting panto will take audiences over the rainbow at St. Helens Theatre Royal from Saturday 6th – Monday 22nd April.
Just announced! Beautiful rising star Mia Molloy steps into the famous ruby slippers as Dorothy. The multi-talented Liverpool local has been garnering excitement with her incredible vocals and presence on stage.
St. Helens Theatre Royal Manager, Chantelle Nolan said: “I am very excited about the addition of Mia to the cast. This talented young actress will be making her St. Helens debut and I am confident that she will become an audience favourite. She joins an incredible cast that will have audiences talking about the panto well after all of their Easter eggs are gone!”
Molloy joins a star-studded cast which includes Emmerdale and Brookside’s Linda Lusardi as The Wicked Witch and B.B.C.’s The Voice’s Lucy Kane as Glinda.
There are also a whole host of new faces including Harry Moore as Tin Man, Steve Arnott as Lion, and Reece Sibbald as Scarecrow. Completing the cast, Jay Lusted returns as the great Wizard of Oz.
Click your heels together and join Dorothy and Toto as they journey along the Yellow Brick Road to meet the Wizard so he can make their dreams come true.
Regal Entertainments’ reimagined panto version of this classic family tale includes a brand-new script and music for 2019 including lots of chart hits, old and new, for audiences to sing along to.
Get ready for a whole lot of family fun as this fantastic tale is reawakened.
