March sees the arrival of the 2019 Klee Music Acoustic Night Programme, a series of three shows at arguably Liverpool’s best small venue – 81 Renshaw Street, Liverpool.
The months of March, June and October will see Pete Wilkinson (Cast, Shack, Aviator), Lydiah, John Jenkins, Marc Vormawah, Vanessa Murray, Mike West, Daisy Gill, Dan Astles and Rachael Jean Harris perform solo sets, each other’s songs, and as a trio. There really is no other acoustic night in Liverpool -this format is unique!
Counting in the new season is Lydiah, Pete Wilkinson and John Jenkins, who will be appearing together at 81 Renshaw Street on the 9th March 2019. Doors are 7.30pm, the first set is scheduled to commence at 8.00pm. There is no “bill” – order of play will be decided by drawing straws at soundcheck. No egos, just pure musicality and collaboration.
Klee Music is a promoter and small independent label based in Liverpool who specialises in releasing physical product – vinyl and cassettes. In a digital world, this is not only surprising, but a refreshing change. “We value the whole tactile experience that music can also gift us”– Steve Klee.
