After a month long run at 2018’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s Pleasance Courtyard the hugely talented comedian and impressionist Luke Kempner has announced a U.K. tour for 2019 with his show House Of Faces. The show, directed by Ben Clark, kicks off on 26th September at Liverpool’s Epstein and culminates on 16th November at Maidenhead’s Norden Farm Centre for the Arts.
Luke Kempner said, “I’m incredibly excited to be doing my very first tour taking my many voices into the regions and meeting some lovely people!”
This show hosts the ultimate reality television show where no one is off limits. Celebrities, politicians and even royalty help Luke face his faults and fears. Television shows include the likes of Love Island, You’ve been Trumped! Gogglebox, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, Game Of Thrones, Louis Theroux’s documentaries and many more!
Luke has an impressive repertoire of famous voices he can call upon including Boris Johnson, Donald Trump, Cheryl Cole, Michael McIntyre, Brian Cox, Nigel Farage, Frankie Boyle, Maggie Smith, Christopher Biggins, Louis Theroux, Jeremy Kyle and Arsene Wenger and a whole host more!
He is set to be the special guest of Russell Kane on a handful of dates for his forthcoming tour and has previously done the same for best mate Iain Sterling.
Alongside his live work, Luke has a burgeoning television and radio career. 2018 saw him perform on this year’s Royal Variety Performance and he became part of the impressionist comedy panel show The Imitation Game, hosted by Alexander Armstrong, Rory Bremner and Debra Stephenson. Luke also starred in The Week That Wasn’t on Sky One and Modern Day Horror Stories (Comedy Central Online). He has also appeared in in B.B.C. Three comedy Murder In Successville Series 1-3, The Tracey Ullman Show (B.B.C.1), Episodes (B.B.C.2), Drunk History (Comedy Central), Newzoids (I.T.V.) and starred in his own review show for I.T.V.2, entitled Luke Kempner’s Impression of 2015. In 2017 Luke was the resident comedian on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and became a regular on B.B.C. Radio 4’s The Now Show and also featured on Lucy Porter’s The Family Way.
