Julian Littman, musician, actor and member of Folk Rock pioneers Steeleye Span, is coming to the St. Helens on Saturday 10th of November to share his songs and tales, music and drama From times spent in the company of Gerry Rafferty, Steeleye Span, David Bowie, Brian May & Madonna to name but a few.
A member of folk-rock pioneers Steeleye Span for the past six years, Julian Littman has been part of one of the band’s most productive periods – not only revisiting the classic Now We Are Six record live but also helping shape the Wintersmith project with the late Terry Pratchett.
Something for everyone at the Citadel’s a natural fit for Julian, who has played alongside some of the most famous names in British music over the years – including Gerry Rafferty, Pete Townsend, Dexys Midnight Runners, Richard & Linda Thompson and Barbara Dickson – as well as writing for artists such as Sheena Easton, Philip Bailey and Sister Sledge.
A seasoned performer (his parallel acting career has seen him star in television and film as well as the musicals Return To The Forbidden Planet and We Will Rock You) he has released two solo albums and is touring the live show Folk Soul Brother.
