John O’Connell’s Simply Dylan will be back in 2019 for a brand-new headline tour across the U.K., including a night at The Citadel in St. Helens on Saturday 9th February.
Simply Dylan is as straightforward as the title suggests: no frills, no gimmicks, and no pretence. It is Liverpool based artist John O’ Connell’s personal exploration and celebration of the rich and diverse work of Bob Dylan.
This no ordinary interpretation continues to delight Dylan fans who are craving to hear some of prodigious songwriter’s back catalogue live in concert.

John O’Connell, formerly of Groundpig who leads Simply Dylan, has had his name indelibly written in to the tapestry of Liverpool’s music scene, has collaborated with other highly reputable musicians to form his Dylan Band.
These major live dates will be their first since their headline hometown show at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall in 2017.
