From The Team That Brought New Theatre Productions From Naughty Corner, A New Venture In Script Supplies Beckons.

Naughty Corner has been a phenomenon that has captured the imagination no matter where they have taken their outrageously entertaining and thought-provoking shows.

Whether you have been fortunate enough to witness shows such as The British Idles, Muckers and the absolute smash Bob The Russian at the Unity Theatre or even the group’s work as separate artists, especially in the chilling theatrical production of Footsteps In The Shadows which was performed at the Liverpool Community College and earned superb reviews for the bravery in showing the period of time in which The Yorkshire Ripper was at his most depraved, then the names of Adam Leyland, Callum Forbes and Warren Kettle will be no strangers to you.

It is in this fabulous threesome that underlines the new wave of young Liverpool theatre, having earned their stripes for having the absolute polish of their performances, and the genius in which their minds work. A cross, a healthy mix somewhere between the truth of Ealing Comedy, of the surreal artistry of Picasso and the relentless urge to show a new kind of what could be seen as working-class theatre, but with an urge, an edge of the cinema world in which the Noir once held sway.

It is in this search for new boundaries to explore and a truth once denied so many of the previous generations, that Adam Leyland, Callum Forbes and Warren Kettle have formed their own company called Script Suppliers.

The Company are a script writing service based in Merseyside that specialises in bespoke monologues and duologues but are not limited to.

Adam Leyland said, “Myself, Callum Forbes and Warren Kettle wanted to make this company because we want to show people how easy it is to make your own theatre and that you should never wait for work to come to you. To never be scared of trying and failing. And to take Inspiration from the everyday world and turn it into something beautiful… even better if a personals inspiration has room for a little creative flare. We work closely with our clients in order to provide them with their perfect scenes and characters based on their acting style and preference.

People that often find our services useful are students, local businesses seeking help with radio adverts and actors needing help with show reel scenes.”

Script Suppliers will be hosting their first ever scratch night with special guests at Jacaranda on Thursday 8th November.
