Headlong Theatre’s Meek is going down a storm at the Traverse Theatre – a highlight of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and will be coming to Liverpool’s Unity Theatre from Monday 10th – Saturday 15th September.
Written by Fringe First Winner Penelope Skinner (Angry Alan, Linda, The Village Bike) Meek continues in Headlong Theatre’s radical signature style, set in a dystopian society where private lives become political and freedom of expression is not an option, a woman finds herself imprisoned. As tales of her incarceration spread overseas and her growing exposure becomes a threat, she is forced to make a brutal decision.
A haunting vision of ruthless state control, and one woman’s determination not to be broken, you can catch Meek in Liverpool from Monday 10th – Saturday 15th September only at Unity Theatre
Hurry though, now the word is out this will be one we all want to see!
Tickets for Meek are priced from £12-£16, with concessions available at £10.50. Tickets can be purchased from the Unity Theatre Box office on Hope Place.
