Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * * *
It is the evocative sound of agreement turned in on itself, of the signalling of the Triumvirate in action as they held the world in the palm of their hands and never for a minute believing it would be for anything other than pleasure and domination; certainly not to be used in conjunction by an entertaining band from Liverpool who see the world in their latest single, as an intense, moody joy and third round knockout in front of a 10,000 strong baying crowd at the Liverpool Echo Arena.
If you require dynamic and feel the urge to agitate the cells of the body to see perspiration fall from the unfurled brow, then Three From Above’s Hail Caesar! is a track in which to get behind and let the relaxed state of mind take a hike, for in Tom Collins, Harris McWilliam and Lewis McWilliam, the fight is all part of the show, the sense of dominating the airwaves a true reflection of the power projected and the speed in which the lyrics are delivered, leave the listener spent and comfortably embroiled in the post passion embrace.
Intense and moody, a memory perhaps of other bands who used the same effect to get the message across but to whom were also never held back by the soft romantic call; this is a single which joins the conversation with an interruption but to whom the crowd takes to their heart because of the zest shown. A disruption but one that takes the discussion off in a direction that would have been thought too dangerous to tackle, but which you stand in marvel at the verbal dexterity produced.
Three From Above have already proved their worth, now they seem Hell bent on making the splash that is provided when the running jump is anticipated by the body of water and rebelliously cheers as those around the pool is touched and soaked by the quality and the quantity of the experience; a frenzied attack of sound which is evident in Hail Caesar! and one that happily dictates the terms to come.
