Will Cooper writes and directs this new play, exploring themes such as religion, identity, sexuality and masculinity through a developing relationship between two young men. By tomorrow, they will be stepbrothers and roomies. Today, they’re trapped in a church, just the two of them. As the pair lock horns over love, loss and liturgy, secrets emerge.

Grin Theatre is Liverpool’s longest running LGBT+ theatre company. Their focus is devising provocative, relevant, engaging fringe theatre that is produced by new writers, directors, performers and crew. Stepping Out is a product of this ethos.
Grin Theatre’s Stepping Out is on at 81 Renshaw Street, Liverpool on the 23rd and 24th January. Doors at 7pm, starts 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £6.
