Get ready to Hear The People Sing on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November as students from The Heath Performing Arts Academy in Association with LIPA 4:19 present the iconic musical, Les Misérables at The Epstein Theatre.
This dedicated and extremely talented company of students aged between 10 – 19 have been rehearsing over a period of months, directed by their team of performing arts professionals, to produce an outstanding version of one of the world’s most successful shows of all time.
The gifted young students, hailing from the Halton and Merseyside area, attend LIPA every Saturday at The Heath School in Runcorn for singing, drama and dance classes structured around technique and performance skills. The show promises a fantastic opportunity for audiences to discover the talent on offer in Liverpool whilst At The End Of The Day enjoying one of the most loved musicals ever!
The three performances are underscored with live orchestration and it promises to be a rousing and emotional event featuring all the musicals most famous numbers including Do You Hear The People Sing, I Dreamed A Dream, Who Am I?, Empty Chairs At Empty Tables and One Day More.
Kate Allerston has been the Principal of LIPA 4:19 since 2009 and is directing the show. Kate trained at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and has worked as a professional actress for over 12 years in theatre and TV.
Director, Kate Allerston said, “This is a very challenging production for the students to be taking on and one which they are fully embracing. In fact, the standard of the performance promises to be outstanding and there is an enormous amount of talent within the cast. We are extremely proud of what the students are achieving.”
