Irish superstar singer and songwriter Imelda May has announced four additional U.K. tour dates, including a night at Warrington’s Parr Hall, Tickets go on sale this Friday 7th July at 10am. The November dates include a headline show at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall, where Imelda supported The Who in April in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
“I’m so delighted to perform at The Royal Albert Hall again,” says Imelda. “It really is a very special place. You can feel the history in the walls and the excitement in the air. The beauty of it takes my breath away. And I’ve got the best view in the house! I hope to see you there.” Imelda ended her recent U.K. & Eire tour with three sold-out shows at Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre, which followed a triumphant sold-out gig at London Palladium (“May’s wild side was worth the wait, though her mature reinvention was the evening’s real triumph” said Evening Standard in their 4* review).
She then headed to the U.S. where she performed a series of prestigious headline shows – including New York’s Webster Hall – following several support dates with Elvis Costello.
Imelda May heads to Warrington’s Parr Hall on Monday 13th November. Tickets for the show can be purchased from the Parr Hall Box office.
