King of the Edinburgh Fringe Richard Herring will be royally entertaining audiences at The Epstein Theatre next week.
The Metro columnist and the U.K.’s Podfather (RHLSTP, AIOTM) picks his favourite routines from his 12 one-man shows and crams them into 90 minutes for your delectation in Richard Herring – The Best on Friday 17th March.
From his deconstruction of the genealogy of Christ to him proving that racists are less racist than liberals, via some of the best knob jokes in the business, will your favourite routine make the cut?
This latest comedy show is a great introduction to this influential cult comedian for the newcomer and a welcome greatest hits for long term fans.
Richard Herring has been working as a professional writer and comedian since 1989. He was one of the team behind the seminal B.B.C. Radio 4 series On The Hour, and then worked alongside Stewart Lee (co-creator of Jerry Springer – The Opera) on the cult shows Fist of Fun (B.B.C. Two) and This Morning With Richard Not Judy (B.B.C. Two).
Richard also co-wrote 37 episodes of the sit-com Time Gentlemen Please (Sky One), which starred Al Murray – The Pub Landlord. He has been the script editor for the multi-award winning comedy series Little Britain (B.B.C. One) and co-written and starred in That Was Then, This is Now for BBC Radio 2.
