Musician, composer, beatboxer, sound artist, producer and performer Jason Singh will be joined by award winning jazz clarinettist, Arun Ghosh and double bassist, Pete Turner in an special immersive gig in Unity Theatre’s Dark Dark Wood on Tuesday 13th December.
Jason Singh is musician, composer, sound artist, creative facilitator, producer and performer. He works across all art forms and his work is an on-going exploration and collaboration between the voice, body and music technology.
Jason, (who is winner of the 2017 PRS New Music Biennial Award and Artist in residence at Hull City of Culture 2017) will create a sound environment in the Dark Dark Wood that is based on the fantastical world of creatures and textures designed by LIPA student, Katie Scott. Live visuals will also be provided on the night by Fabric Lenny.

On the night, the audience will also be able to visit the Kinicho Cosmos sound installation, a 20-piece speaker installation in Unity Lounge, which features pieces from the three artists performing in the Dark Dark Wood – Jason Singh (13th Dec), Patrick Dineen (15th Dec) and The Aleph (9th Dec).
