With the festive season not too far away, there are those already planning their entertainment during the Christmas frivolities. As the nights draw in, the thrills of the season are enhanced by the announcement that Ben McKelvey will be supporting The Overtones on their 20 date U.K. Christmas Tour for 2016, a tour which will also take in Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall on December 21st.
With lyrical honesty and classic melodies, Ben has been likened to Bruce Springsteen, The Clash, and Paul Weller. His passionate performance and storytelling has captivated audiences across the U.K and beyond.
Ben has performed hundreds of solo dates since 2011, embarked on a U.S.A. tour in 2014, he was an invited guest of the National competition Open Mic U.K., and supported Wet Wet Wet on their 17 date U.K. Arena tour earlier this year.
His critically acclaimed studio album ‘Life and Love in England’ which came out earlier this year also reached the top ten in the iTunes singer/songwriter charts.
The tour, which starts on November 24th in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, will come to Liverpool’s prestigious Philharmonic Hall on December 21st. Tickets are available from the Philharmonic Hall Box office.
