Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott have announced their biggest headline U.K. tour to date including two nights at Hull City Hall, plus shows at Leeds First Direct Arena and the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall before culminating at London’s famous Royal Albert Hall. The tour, which commences on Thursday 10^th March at Birmingham Academy, comes to Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall on Saturday 26^th March.

Wisdom, Laughter and Lines, which is released on the 23^rd October, is the new album from Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott. This record is the second from Paul and Jacqui following the critically acclaimed What Have We Become, which saw them return together on record for the first time since the multi-million selling days of The Beautiful South, who in the 1990s and early 2000s released a string of critically-acclaimed records.

Wisdom, Laughter and Lines is a wonderful contemporary record, full of lyrical wit and humour, whilst retaining a strong social conscience that touches on the changing social landscape of Britain, the first single from the album is The Austerity of Love which was ‘Record of the Week’ on B.B.C. Radio 2 and has been added straight on to the A Playlist at B.B.C. Radio 2.

Tickets will go on general sale on Friday 9th October 10am and tickets for the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall performance are on sale from the Philharmonic Hall Box office.
