MBH Theatre are proud to present the multi-award winning STUFF BY Mick Cooper at Liverpool’s Lantern Theatre on the 14th August.
A story of life, death, family, friendship and all the stuff in-between.
Toby and Jess are unable to conceive children. Or rather, Toby is unable to. One night, their charismatic friend – Xav – makes the unique suggestion that they use his frozen ‘stuff’ instead and become parents. Do they take him up on the offer?
The winner of the “Audience Favourite Play” Award at the 24:7 Theatre Festival sees original cast members Eve Burley and Karl Greenwood return to the play.
Eve Burley has just returned from performing on Broadway in Anthony Burgess’ One Hand Clapping and L.I.P.A. Graduate Karl Greenwood, who won the U.K. Studio Theatre Award for Best male for his performance in STUFF and will be joining the U.K. Touring Production following the STUFF tour. The show is also joined by a new director – Alice Bartlett – a former resident director for The West Yorkshire Playhouse & Harrogate Theatre. Also joining the cast is actor Peter Ash who many will recognise from his recent performance in the War Horse tour and as Darius Fry in I.T.V’s Footballer’s Wives.
“This is proving to be a very exciting time for MBH Theatre and STUFF. It’s great to have Eve and Karl back, and I really look forward giving audiences some new ‘stuff’ from Pete and Alice!”, said Mick Cooper the writer of STUFF and founder of My Beating Heart Theatre.
Tickets for Stuff are available from the Lantern Theatre Box office on 0151 7030000 or online at www.lanterntheatreliverpool.co.uk. Tickets are priced at £10.50.
