James are behind some of the biggest hits of the last 30 years and have sold over 12 million albums worldwide. Lead singer Tim Booth says, “We feel we’ve made one of our strongest albums in La Petite Morte and are “dying” to reveal our live take on it to you on this tour along with a few other familiar faces. In James tradition we are very happy to have a great opening act in Starsailor – so come early, put on your glad rags and make a great night of it; we will be.”
James will be joined on all dates by Wigan favourites Starsailor. Their career has spanned more than a decade and saw the band release two top 10 albums, including Love is Here and Silence is Easy as well as a third album All The Plans in 2008.
“We are really excited and honoured that James have asked us to support them on their forthcoming tour,” says Starsailor’s James Walsh, “We have been on hiatus for a number of years now so it’s great to return to the live arena alongside such an iconic band.”
Tickets are available on Friday May 9th at 10.30 am.
