Michael Bolton has announced that he will be touring the U.K. in May 2014 in support of his new album, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. The tour, which starts in Cardiff on May 6th, will be coming to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on May 10th.
The album is due for release on February 3rd 2014 in time for Valentine’s Day. This special release featuring classic Motown hits also includes an exclusive version of the title track performed as a duet with Leona Lewis. The album also features a duet of Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing with Grammy Award winner Melanie Fiona and guitar sensation Orianthi feature on Money. The new songs Gotta Keep Dreamin’ and Somethin’ Out of Nothin’ co-written by Michael Bolton will also be included.
Michael Bolton has won multiple Grammys for Best Male Vocalist, sold more than 53 million records, released nine number one singles and received countless other honours throughout his career as a singer, songwriter and humanitarian. He continues to tour the world and has sung with legends like Luciano Pavarotti, BB King, Placido Domingo and Ray Charles. He has written songs with Bob Dylan and Lady Gaga and penned hits recorded by stars such as Barbra Streisand, Cher, Kiss and Kanye West/Jay-Z. Michael was featured in the Emmy nominated Saturday Night Live video ‘Jack Sparrow’ that went on to become a viral sensation racking up over 110 million views to date. Of all that he has accomplished perhaps nothing is more important to Bolton than the foundation he founded in 1993, The Michael Bolton Charities which has given over $10 million to assist women and children at risk.
Tickets for the night at the Philharmonic Hall are priced at £25, £39.50 and £55. Tickets go on sale on Friday 18th October at 9.30am.
