Award Winning Comedian, Robin Ince, To Bring His New Show To The Unity Theatre.

Radio 4’s Sony Gold award-winning comedian (co-presenter of The Infinite Monkey Cage with Professor Brian Cox) and science enthusiast Robin Ince continues his comic exploration of the human condition with a look at his favourite scientists – Charles Darwin and Richard Feynman – in his new show The Importance Of Being Interested which he is bringing to the Unity Theatre on Tuesday 10th September.

Robin is predominantly known as a science populariser and the pioneering comedian behind hugely successful live events such as The Book Club, School for Gifted Children and 9 Lessons and Carols for Godless People. He presents the Sony Award winning Infinite Monkey Cage on B.B.C. Radio 4 with Brian Cox. He has won three Chortle Awards, including the Time Out Outstanding Achievement Award and was nominated for Best Live Show at the British Comedy Awards.

His regular radio appearances include; The News Quiz, Just a Minute and as a music profiler on Steve Lamacq’s show for B.B.C. 6 Music. He has made numerous T.V. appearances on panel and stand up shows including; The Review Show and The T.V. Book Club as well as presenting documentaries including Schrodinger’s Cat and Vinyl Culture.
