Over 45 years after Judy Garland and her daughter Liza Minnelli performed together at The London Palladium, these iconic performers are back together again thanks to JL Touring in Association with Ash Productions Live who present Judy & Liza, a sublime musical experience reinvented for 2013. Judy & Liza will be coming to Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre on Saturday 29th June for two spellbinding performances.

Written by West End star and Liverpool native Emma Dears and directed by Rita Henderson, Judy & Liza features the music and stories of the two women who became synonymous with musical theatre and features live performances of all of your favourite Judy and Liza hits including Cabaret, Maybe This Time and The Man That Got Away. Vocals are provided by Emma Dears (Mary Magdalene – Jesus Christ Superstar, Ellen – Miss Saigon) and fellow West End Star Lucy Williamson (We Will Rock You, Fame and the lead role of Mavis in the U.K. No1 tour of Stepping Out). Their performances are intertwined with images of Judy and Liza, whilst Emma, as Liza and Lucy, playing Judy, tell the sensational stories of the lives of two of the world’s most legendary stars of stage and screen.

Judy & Liza is an evening of explosive singing, razor sharp wit, triumphant highs and heart-wrenching lows. It will leave you breathless as the audience embark on an emotional journey through the glamorous, often troubled, but always well documented lives of the first ladies of show business

There are two performances of this show; the matinee performance is on at 2.30pm and the evening performance on at 7.30pm. Prices for the matinee showing are £15 with concessions available at £12.50 and the evening session is priced at £18.50 with concessions available at £16.
