Live Nation is proud to announce that Britain’s best-loved rockers Status Quo will undertake the 11 date Bula Quo! U.K. Winter tour in 2013 and as part of the tour they kick off at the Liverpool Echo Arena on December 6th.
Tickets are on sale from 9.00am on Friday 12th April 2013 from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Bula Quo! is the title of the band’s forthcoming debut feature film [and soundtrack album]. The film premieres in London on July 1st 2013 and goes on general release on July 5th, whilst the 2 C.D. album is released on the 10th June. The tour also features very special guests, the mighty 10CC, on all U.K. dates – two truly classic bands on one bill.
10cc are no strangers to Liverpool, having enjoyed many nights over the years and the hospitality the city affords them. The last two visits to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall have generated great critical success and quite rightly so. The Platinum-selling band achieved massive success during the 70s with classic hits like Rubber Bullets, I’m Not In Love, I’m Mandy, Fly Me and Dreadlock Holiday. The current line-up, helmed by Graham Gouldman and Paul Burgess, are constantly in demand the world over; these U.K. dates are going to be really special.
Status Quo themselves need no introduction: more hit singles than any other band, more hit albums than The Beatles, more appearances on Top of the Pops than any other act; the superlatives keep coming. The Bula Quo! set will feature, of course, a slew of massive hits from that amazing catalogue of classics, plus some new tracks from the forthcoming album.
The tour which starts in Liverpool will also visit venues such as Birmingham’s LG Arena, Bournemouth’s B.I.C. and the Glasgow Hydro before finishing on the 19th December at the Newcastle Arena.
Tickets for this special event are priced at £38.50 (plus booking fees)
