A unique musical collaboration between former Oasis guitarist Bonehead and the Manchester based singer songwriter, poet and alt-pop troubadour Vinny Peculiar will wow audiences at Liverpool’sEpstein Theatreon the 9th ofFebruary. Described as psychedelic, pop-rock with eccentric British storytelling Parlour Flames promise distinctive styling, superb musicianship and a one of a kind experience.
Since leaving the iconic band Oasis in 1999 Bonehead has teamed up on projects with The Smiths membersAndy Rourke and Mike Joyce,performed with Thai rock legend Sek Loso and has co-hosted the Manchester Music Show on B.B.C. Radio Manchester. Bonehead teamed up with Vinny on a string of European shows in 2007 and his album Other People Like Me. Vinny himself continues to write & perform as a solo artist, collaborating with The Auteurs’ front man Luke Haines and The Smiths’ Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke, who joined his band in 2004-2007. Together they released nine albums of semi confessional outsider art-pop music.
Bonehead and Peculiar wrote & produced all the songs on Parlour Flames, the duo’s debut album, which features an elective mix of talent from Badly Drawn Boy, Samson & Delilah, I Am Kloot and many more.
Parlour Flames by Parlour Flames is due for release in February.
