Enter Shakari round off a solid 18 months of touring the world promoting their third album A Flash Flood Of Colour with the Return To Energiser 2013 U.K. and Ireland tour that sees them playing 24 intimate shows in towns that they have either not played for a long time, never played before or that never really get rock shows on their doorstep.
A Flash Flood Of Colour ended 2012 in spectacular fashion picking up Kerrang! Magazine’s ‘Album Of The Year’ honour, as well as high placings in the end of year polls and round-ups from Alternative Press, NME, Rock Sound, Punktastic and many more.
Known for their incendiary live performances, Enter Shikari come to the New Brighton Pavilion as part of the tour which begins on April 4thin Dorking before arriving in the Wirral on Monday 15th April. This sees the band take to the stages of Britain one more time before hanging up their touring boots in favour of the rehearsal room and studio to work on what will become album number four in 2014.
The band said, “We speak to a lot of people who come to the big shows and we’re very aware that a large number of them travel distances to come and see us. Not everyone lives in a major city, so we figured it was time we went out and tried to visit some people a little closer to home. It’s going to be awesome to be in small rooms and up-close-and-personal with crowds again, plus visiting some new places along the way”.
Tickets for Enter Shikari go on sale from Friday 18th January and are available from the New Brighton Pavilion Box office or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
